ANGER & RAGE: THE CORE OF WRATH
CEU Hours: 4
No new dates at this time.
Approved by the NM Counseling and Therapy Practice Board and the NM Board for Social Work Examiners
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
In this workshop, participants will learn how to dissolve anger at its core and to eliminate anger as a default response.
(This is NOT an anger management course.)
We will explore your unique anger style:
Are you a people pleaser?
Does your anger seem to control you?
Has your anger become a lifestyle?
We will examine the feelings and emotions beneath the anger and search for the core beliefs that lurk beneath the feelings and that fuel the fire of anger.
Using a variety of anger dissolution tools, participants will be able to apply these tools for their own use as well as to clinical practice to assist their clients in dissolving their anger and learning healthier ways to communicate.
